Welfare Schemes are also being implemented by this Department for the orphans, destitute persons, beggars and old aged persons.
Eligibility Criteria
Income limit Rs. 1, 20,000 for rural area Rs. 150,000 for urban area
The standard of assistance
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes, Homeless ISMOs of Thinking Free Liberation Caste Rs.
The period for completion of building construction is two years.
Documents to be submitted
Proof of caste or sub-caste of the applicant and proof of income
Proof of residence of the applicant (such as Aadhaar card / electricity bill / license / rental agreement / election card / ration card any one of them)
Certified copy of allotment letter of allotment order if land or ready house has been received under any poverty alleviation scheme
Land Ownership Basis / Document / Assessment Form / Charter / Charter (as applicable)
Certificate to issue Talati cum Minister / City Talati cum Minister / Circle Inspector of Gram Panchayat for sanctioning housing assistance to the applicant
Holiday letter for building construction

Some important things to keep in mind.
The applicant will have to build a pucca house in his own open plot or in place of a raw house.
No member of the applicant’s family has earlier received any financial assistance from the Government for construction of houses under Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana, Sardar Awas Yojana, Indira Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or any other type of government scheme.
When the building is completed, a fixed pattern plate has to be affixed in the front part.
The house of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana cannot be rented or sold.
No family member should have a government job
As per the policy rules of the government, sand cement and building from here has to be done only in the place given permission by the gram panchayat.
The building should be completed in two years
