Online applications are invited for selection of candidates for the following 257 posts of Deputy Section Officer and Deputy Mamlatdar, Class-3 under the Department of Secretariat, Government of Gujarat.  

For this the candidate has to apply on http://gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 10/11/20 (13:00 hrs) to 01/12/20 (13:00 hrs).  A competitive examination will be held for the selection process.
 Note: (1) Screening Test (Preliminary Test) for these posts will probably be held on 18/4/2021.
 (2) The result of Screening Test (Preliminary Test) will probably be published in June-2021.
 (3) Written main examination will probably be held on 8/8/2021 and 22/8/2021.

 For Physically Handicapped Candidates (1) Only candidates with the following prescribed physical disabilities are eligible to apply for the above posts: Blindness, Deafness Hearing Impairment Movement Disability or Name of the Place (B / PB) Brain Paralysis Deputy Section Officer (Secretariat)  % to 100% 50% to 100% OA.OL, BL.OLA, BLOA (2) Out of the 09 reserved seats shown for physically challenged candidates in the advertisement, 03 places are blind or visually impaired, 04 places are hearing impairment and 05 places are mobility impaired or deaf.  Reserved for candidates with paralysis.  Candidates with other physical disabilities will not be eligible to apply.  (3) Physically disabled candidates will get 10 years exemption in the upper age limit subject to the medical certificate of the Superintendent / Civil Surgeon prescribed from Circular No. 1-10-2008 30-C.5 of the General Administration Department dated 1-12-2008.
(3) Candidates with physical disability will have to show the percentage / details of their disability in the Personal Details in the online form.  (3) Candidates who will be selected for the posts reserved for the physically challenged and ex-servicemen will be the candidates of the category (Non-reserved / economically weaker classes / SC / ST / SC / ST).  Category will be considered, (2) As per Resolution No .: CRR-102004 – GOI-05-C.4 dated 19/06/2001 of SVV, only those with physical disability 50% or more will get the benefits of physical disability.  Will be receivable.  1.  (A) If female candidates are not available in the reserved seats for women, these seats will be allotted to male candidates in the respective category.  (B) Out of the above vacancies, if there are no qualified candidates available for the reserved seats for ex-servicemen, such vacancies will be filled by other candidates.  3, Citizenship: Candidate for admission in the examination is (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a citizen of Nepal, (c) a citizen of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan exile who came to India before January 1, 1922 with the intention of permanently residing in India, or  (2) Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries, Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam.  Must be a native Indian who has migrated from Zambia, Malawi, Zer, Ethiopia, United Republic of Tanzania and intends to reside permanently in India, but only persons from type (b) to () for appointment if they have obtained eligibility certificate from Gujarat Government.  Will become eligible.  Note: – The Commission will consider the application form of the candidate in whose case the eligibility certificate is required.  And if his name is recommended for appointment, the state government will give him temporary appointment on condition of issuing a certificate of eligibility in his case.  
3 Application Form (1) Non-reserved class candidates, if they pay the fee at the post office, Rs.  If you pay 100+ postal charges and online fee, Rs.  100+ service charges will have to be paid.  Candidates in the reserved category (economically weaker sections, socially and educationally backward class. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying fees so that they do not have to pay any fees.)  No application fee will have to be paid. (3) For reserved category candidates, such candidates will be able to apply for non-reserved seats where there are no reserved seats in the advertisement and non-reserved norms will be applicable to them for selection.  However, women candidates can apply in that category. (2) In the advertisement, out of the total seats in that category, some seats are reserved for women candidates, except for the reserved seats for women candidates, the remaining seats are not reserved for male candidates only.  However, consideration can be given for selection of male as well as female candidates, male as well as female candidates can apply.  Women candidates can also be selected against the space.  (3) Even if there are reserved seats for female candidates in the advertisement, only male candidates can apply in that category as if no female candidate is available, then male candidates may be considered for selection in these posts.  But the seats which are reserved only for women candidates and the women candidates have full choice over those seats
They will have to be considered first if they are selected in the same number and if no female candidate is selected or if less female candidate is selected then the same number of male candidates will be considered.  (For example, a total of 10 seats are reserved for women candidates and if 06 women candidates are selected, then 06 male candidates can be selected.) (2) Based on the result of preliminary test, the candidates who have been declared temporarily successful for the main (written examination)  Candidates have to re-fill the online form for the main (written) examination, scan the required certificates / documents and upload online on the Commission’s website https://gpsc-lass.gujarat.gov.in. 3. Date of Birth: (1)  The Commission only accepts the SSC certificate issued by the SSC Board for proof of date of birth, but if the candidate finds the date of birth mentioned in this certificate to be incorrect, a certified copy of the age and domicile certificate issued by the competent authority should be sent.  In this certificate the authorized officer should clearly state that they have checked the original certificate of SSC or its equivalent examination and based on the evidence presented before them the correct date of birth of the candidate is ….. which is SSC.  Mass shown in the certificate of its equivalent examination  Is different from the date and there is reason to believe.  The Commission will decide on the acceptance or rejection of the age and domicile certificate submitted by the candidate on the basis of his credibility.  (2) The date of birth indicated by the candidate in the application form cannot be changed later for any reason.  .  Age and Exemption: (1) Last date to apply: Candidate should have completed 20 (twenty) years on 01/12/2050 and should not have completed 3 (thirty five years). u S Candidates with Physical Disability Ten years (maximum of 3 years limit) Gujarat Government Employees Gujarat Civil Service |  Gujarat Government employees are not eligible for any kind of age limit and classification and recruitment (general) rules, concessions.  Employees who have been working in the Government of Gujarat permanently or temporarily for six consecutive months as per the provision of 18 and their first appointment has been made within the age limit mentioned in the advertisement space. 5. Eligibility: (1) Candidate  .  Or an educational institution or UGC established by an Act of Parliament.  Under Act-13 Section-3, Uni.  Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification from an educational institution established as and have (2) basic knowledge of computer application as per the provision of Rule-3 (1) of G.M.S. Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules-12.  Should.  In connection with the above advertisement, the selected candidates will have to submit a certificate of having basic knowledge of the first commuter application before receiving the final appointment letter.  Dt. Of the General Administration Department of the Government.  Resolution No. 17-08-2009: CRR – 10-2006-19050 – The syllabus shown in Form-1 with GP has been declared as Basic Knowledge of Commuter.  A certificate from a recognized institute regarding computer subject knowledge as per this course will be valid.  In addition recognized Uni.  Or certificates of having done any diploma, degree, or certificate course in computer knowledge in a government recognized institute or certificates having computer as a subject in diploma or degree course or certificates passed standard 10 and 12 examination with computer subject will be valid.  .  Candidates who do not have such qualification will not be eligible for appointment.  (3) Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and / or Hindi.  (2) Candidates who have completed 60 years of age by the last date of acceptance of application form and have appeared or will appear in the examination of last semester / year of prescribed qualification degree but whose result has not been published may apply for preliminary examination.  But they should have obtained the degree of educational qualification mentioned in the advertisement by the last date of applying for the main examination.  .  Salary scale: Rs.  5050 / – (Fixed Salary) As per Resolution No.: Expenditure / 2009/2 / (Part-2) / Z, 1 of the Finance Department dated 18/01/2017, the candidate has to pay a monthly fixed salary of Rs. 2,050 / – at the initial stage.  Appointment will be given for five years subject to the conditions and bids as per Resolution No .: Expenditure / 2009/3 / (Part-2) / Z.1 of the Finance Department of the Government dated 3/03/2018.  Terms and Conditions are posted on the Commission’s website https: //gpsc.gujarat.gov.in.  After confirmation of satisfactory service of five years, the candidate will be eligible for appointment in the regular pay scale of Level-3 of Rs. 2,500 / 1,3,600 pay matrix subject to the provisions of the above resolution.  ઉમેદ Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Classes: (1) Only Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Class Candidates of Original Gujarat will get the benefit as reserved class candidates.  .
(Ii) The details of the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Classes should be given in the application form.  (2) If the candidate does not indicate the reserved category in the relevant column of the application form, then the claim of entitlement to benefit as a reserved category candidate will not be valid.  (3) The candidate seeking the benefit of the reserved class shall inevitably include in his application a copy of the caste certificate issued in the prescribed form by the competent authority.  If a copy of the caste certificate is not included with the application form, it will not be accepted later and the application form will be eligible for cancellation.  (3) The benefit of reservation for socially and educationally backward class candidates will be available only if they are not included in the “advanced class”.  (2) (a) Gujarati sample prescribed by the resolution of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment regarding the non-inclusion of socially and educationally backward class candidates in the advanced class: Gujarati sample as per Appendix-A or newly designated Gujarati sample ‘  Certificate as per Appendix-2 ‘has to be submitted.  (2) (b) The maximum validity of the ‘Certificate not to be included in the advanced class’ has been issued as per Resolution No. SASHP / 19018/4 / A of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment dated 3/06/2018 – three including the year.  Will be financial year.  But such a certificate should be issued by the last date of online application for the relevant advertisement.  This certificate will only be valid if it has been issued during this period, otherwise it will not be valid.  (3) (a) Married women candidates shall submit such certificate in respect of income of their parents.  If such candidates have submitted in respect of their husband’s income, their application will be rejected.  (3) (d) A copy of the ‘Certificate of Non-Advanced Class’ mentioned by the candidate while applying online should be attached with the application.  Even if the candidate gets a new certificate after the last date of advertisement due to an error in such certificate, the certificate mentioned in the online application will be valid to be eligible as a socially and educationally backward class candidate.  (2) (e) 3 criteria are taken into consideration for issuing certificate of non-inclusion in advanced class.  The term of the certificate is now three years.  However, if any of the above criteria changes during this period, the voluntary announcement will have to be made by the concerned candidate and his / her parents / guardians to the concerned authority as well as any change in the certificate by him / her to the Gujarat Public Service Commission.  If the candidate / parent / guardian hides any details without making such announcement, they will be liable for legal action and the benefit of the reservation obtained by them will be revoked.  It will be the responsibility of the candidate / parent / guardian individually and jointly to voluntarily announce the change in any of the criteria for obtaining a certificate of non-inclusion in the advanced class.  (3) Candidates from economically weaker sections should apply to the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, State Government.  Number and date of Certificate for Economically Weaker Classes obtained in the prescribed form (Annexure KH in English or Appendix-C in Gujarati) prescribed from EWS / 19010/65606 / A on 3/01/2018 Resolution No.  To be demonstrated while doing.  This eligibility certificate must be issued by the last date to apply online for the relevant advertisement.  This certificate will only be valid if it has been issued during this period, otherwise it will not be valid.  (2) As per the existing provision of the Government, the candidates of the reserved category will have more than the prescribed standards (i.e. qualification of age limit experience, adopted for the candidates of non-reserved category) with the candidates of non-reserved category.
If the selection is made on the basis of merit without taking concessions in other areas which have been expanded, it has to be taken into account against the unreserved space. Ex-serviceman .. (1) Ex-serviceman candidates will have to give details in the application form. (3) Ex-serviceman candidate will have to send a copy of discharge book along with the application form.  Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the cost of application form, application fee and examination fee as per RES-104G-3 provision of / Resolution No. 2018.
10.  Women Candidates: If a suitable female candidate is not available for the reserved seats for women, the seats may be allotted to the male candidates of that category.  If the candidate is included in more than one of the options of the reserved class ex-serviceman woman or widow, he / she will get one of the applicable options in which he / she will get more benefits.  11, Widow Candidate: (1) If the candidate is a widow, it is necessary to write “Yes” against that column in the application form otherwise it is not applicable.  (2) If the widow candidate is not remarried and wants to avail benefits as a widow candidate, an affidavit stating that he is not remarried must be submitted with the application. (2) The widow candidate has to submit an affidavit.  As per the existing provision of the government, five per cent marks will be added to the marks obtained by them. (2) A woman candidate should not be a “widow” at the time of application for advertisement, but after application or after the last date of publication of advertisement or at any stage of recruitment process.  If she becomes a widow and submits the required documentary evidence, she will be given the benefit of being a “Widow Female Candidate” from any of the remaining stages of the recruitment process after the date of submission.  Choice among widows  In the case where it occurs in more than one of the options, one of the applicable options in which the maximum benefit is available will be found.  Objection Certificate of 18: (1) Officers / employees serving in Government / Semi-Government, Government-Owned Corporations / Companies of the Government of Gujarat may apply immediately in respect of the announcement of the Commission  Will have to.  If the candidate’s employer notifies him within 30 days after the last date of submission of application, his application will be rejected and his candidature will be canceled.  (2) Candidates who are employed by the Central Government or any other State Government shall submit with this application a no-objection certificate of the Appointing Officer.  13, General Conditions: (1) The benefit of the reserved class will be available only to the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and SC and ST classes of the original Gujarat.  (2) Cannot be withdrawn after application.  (3) If the candidate has shown any details in the application form incorrectly, his application form will be canceled at any stage and even if he has obtained the passing standard or the candidate has been selected, his candidature will be considered canceled.  So fill in the application form very meticulously.  (3) Refund is not available after payment of fee.  (3) Employees of the Government of Gujarat may immediately apply for the announcement of the Commission.  But the candidate has to inform his department / account / office on the 7th day.  If the Commission is informed not to allow the application within 30 days after the last date of sending the application from the department / department / office of the candidate, their application will be rejected and the candidature will be canceled.  (3) Athletics (including track and field sports), Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Table tennis, Volleyball, Tennis, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Boxing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Judo, Kabaddi, Rifling,  , Equestrian, shot put, boating, chess, handball – a candidate who has been represented in national / international or inter-university or All India School Association competitions in sports.
In order to give priority in selection, not more than five (five) percent of the total number of marks obtained will be added.  For this the candidate has to submit the required certificate in the prescribed form from the authority designated by the government when the commission seeks it.  If this certificate is not in the form prescribed by the competent authority in the form prescribed by Resolution No. CRR-103-60-G-3 (as amended from time to time) of the General Administration Department dated 2-06-20, the benefit of additional marks is eligible.  Will not happen.  (3) When filling up the online form, the candidate should state clearly whether he wants to apply in the reserved category or in the non-reserved category.  Once you apply online, you will not be allowed to make any changes in the caste / category indicated in the online form.  If a candidate makes a subsequent representation in this regard, his submission will not be accepted and no reply will be given by the Commission. Candidates are advised to abide by this instruction.  13.  Exam Outline and Curriculum :: This exam will be conducted in two phases in sequence.  (1) Screening Test (Preliminary Test) for the purpose of general knowledge question paper will be for 200 marks and 2 hours.  (3) Blind candidates will be given a COMPENSETORY TIME of 30 minutes per hour in the preliminary and main written examination, the approval of which will have to be obtained from the Commission before the examination.  (2) The syllabus of the written main examination will have a total of 2 papers: 8th subject Total marks Question Paper-1 Gujarati Language (Intermediate level), 100 marks Question Paper-2 English Language (Intermediate level), 100 marks Question Paper-2 100 marks General Studies  1 (Graduation Level) 100 Marks Question Paper-2 General Study – 2 (Graduation Level) The level of question paper of Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be of Std.  The time per paper will be 3 hours.  In the screening test (primary test) to be decided by the Commission, the category wise qualification standard, the recruitment rules, the recruitment examination rules and the educational qualification, age, etc. as per the provisions of the advertisement will be satisfactory.  Admission will be granted.  Detailed syllabus of preliminary test and written main examination question paper will be published separately on the website of the Commission.  (3) Candidates admitted in the main examination are required to appear in all the 8 question papers.  If any candidate is absent in one or more question papers, he will not be considered eligible for selection.  (2) In Screening Test (Preliminary Test) the candidate will be given a computerized special type of answer sheet [O.M.R Answer Sheet].  All the questions in the question paper will be objective.  A, B, C, D and E m in answer to each question.  Five options will be offered.  The fifth option will be E as “Not attempted”.  If the candidate does not want to answer the question then he can choose this option.  (1) If the candidate has encoded the fifth option E “Not attended” for the answer to the question, then the question will be considered as “zero” marks and no negative marks will be deducted for that question. Therefore, the candidate should find the correct option in the answer book  Completely circle the A, B, C, D or E given against the order of the relevant question / Darken it with a black ink ball pen.
The answer book will not be checked and zero marks will be given automatically.  Once darkened the answer cannot be changed.  (2) If more than one option is given in the answer book for the same question, marks will not be given for that answer.  (3) In this test, in case of any wrong answer, in case of more than one answer and in case of not encoding any option, 0.3 marks of the fixed mark of that answer will be deducted from the total marks obtained.  This means that the candidate has to keep in mind the issue of negative marks for wrong answers.  (3) In the answer book [O.M.R Answer Sheet] by the candidate, if the seat number / question book number or question book series is written incorrectly or any error is committed in this regard, the answer books will not be checked.  And even after checking the answer book for such errors, if the errors and shortcomings come to notice, then such a candidate will be declared unsuccessful only for such reasons.  No subsequent submissions / requests will be considered.  Therefore, all the candidates are advised to fill in the details to be filled in the O.M.R Answer Sheet completely correctly and to be careful and careful enough to encode.  (2) A candidate shall have a statement in the application form stating that he is represented in a recognized sport and if this statement is later found to be erroneous or he cannot submit a certificate in that regard, it will not be considered valid under any circumstances.  And if the candidate has succeeded in the preliminary test, he will not be given more than five (five) percent of the total marks obtained.  So the candidate is instructed to take personal care in this regard.  (3) On the basis of the result of the preliminary test, the qualification standard is determined in respect of the vacancies in each category for admission to the candidates about six times the number of vacancies specified in the advertisement in the main written test.  Candidates with physical disabilities, ex-servicemen and women candidates are counted in this qualification standard.  And if six times the number of candidates for the reserved seats mentioned in the advertisement is found, then it is considered as eligible.  But if the candidates are missing in six times, then the qualification standard [cut off] for each category is considered with a waiver of 10% in the qualification standard.  Similarly in the main examination also 10% standard will be considered for physically challenged, women and ex-serviceman candidates.  Candidates who become available in this way are considered eligible.  Even after such consideration, if the physically challenged, ex-serviceman or female candidate does not become available, the concession of more than 10% of the prescribed qualification standard is not available.  (3) The marks obtained in the Screening Test (Preliminary Test) will not be taken into consideration for final selection.  The final result will be determined only on the basis of the main written examination. (2) The medium of examination will be Gujarati.  Except, the medium of Paper No. 8 (English) of the main written examination will be English for all the candidates.  13.  Admission to the examination: (1) Every candidate applying with the required fee will be allowed to sit for the preliminary examination without checking the application.  (3) Candidates who have been declared temporarily successful for the main written examination on the basis of the result of physical aptitude test and physical measurement test will have to fill up a separate second application form for the main written examination.  The candidate has to send the required fee and certificates to the office of the commission.  (3) The application forms received from the candidates will be checked as per the recruitment rules, examination rules and advertisement provision and the candidates satisfying this provision will be given admission in the main written examination.  However, if such verification is done after the main written examination, the candidature of the candidates who do not satisfy the required provision as per the verification will be canceled at any stage.
