Information About Std 12 New Revised Syllabus
In the current situation of Covid-19, direct educational work has not been made possible by inviting students to schools. As per the guidelines of the government, the educational work of the students is going on through ‘Home Learning’. In order to reduce the stress of students in the current situation, as per the approval received from the Government, for all the secondary and higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, only the academic year 2020/21 should be amended as per the details included in the syllabus. Is. Questions on the subjects of Std-12 subjects which have been canceled from the syllabus for the current year will not have to be asked in the school as well as in the board examinations, but the academic knowledge of these issues will have to be imparted to the students by the schools. So as not to harm the students academically in the future. The above details are requested to be sent to all the government, grant-in-aid as well as self-reliant secondary and higher secondary schools under your jurisdiction.

Government of Gujarat and GSEB decision to reduce the syllabus by 30% in Std. 9th to 12th due to corona disease Official newspaper list
In the situation of coVID-19, the decision of the state government to reduce the curriculum from Std. 9 to 12 in the interest of the students. Meetings were held on 23/07/20, 20/08/20 and 11/09/20 in the presence of education department officials at Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board to consider reducing working days and curriculum. A meeting was held on 29/9/20 at STTI, Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Minister of Education to consider this matter. In which academics as well as experts and officials of different disciplines were present. Due to the situation of Kovid-19 in the above meetings, real educational work could not be done in the schools but the work of educating the students through online education has been done through different means. In the current situation, the curriculum has been reduced by CBSE as well as other state boards as well as representations have been received from students and parents to reduce the curriculum. In the interest of the students in the prevailing situation of COVID-19, the State Government has decided to reduce the curriculum in Std. . So that the stress of the students can be reduced and the students of Std. 10 and 12 can prepare well for the board exams. The subjects reduced from the syllabus of Std-9 to 12 have been reduced for the purpose of examination i.e. those subjects have been removed from the syllabus. The questions will not be asked in the exam, but in the academic interest of the students, the teachers will have to impart the knowledge of these issues to the students. This will only apply to the academic year 2020/21. While reducing the syllabus, care has been taken to ensure that the link chapters do not delete the topic and the students do not face any difficulty in the competitive examination. A detailed circular in this regard will be issued by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. In which the details of the ongoing chapters / issues in the syllabus of Std-9 to 12 subjects as well as the chapters / issues canceled from the syllabus will be sent to all the schools accredited by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board through all the District Education Officers.
