CM Amrutam “MA” and “MA Vatsalya” scheme
 Mukhyamantri Amrutam (MA) Yojana has been implemented in all the districts of Gujarat for the families living below the poverty line from 4/9/2012.
The State Government has extended the scope of Mukhyamantri Amrutam (MA) Yojana and implemented Mukhyamantri Amrutam MA Vatsalya Yojana for middle class families (maximum five members of the family) on 15/08/2014.
Cashless treatment up to a maximum of Rs. 500000 / – (Rs. 5 lakhs per digit) per family per annum.
Excellent cashless treatment for a total of 1807 prescribed procedures for primary, secondary and tertiary patients.
Purpose of the scheme: – Under the scheme, families living below the poverty line and middle class families can get good quality treatment from the private as well as government affiliated hospital of their choice totally free of cost.

Beneficiaries:
 “MA” Scheme: – Families living below the poverty line.
 “MA Vatsalya” Scheme: –
 Middle class families with an annual income of Rs 4.00 lakh or less
 All hope sisters from rural as well as urban area.
 Accredited journalists.
 Fixed Salary Employees Appointed by Direct Recruitment to all the cadres of Class-3 and Class-4 of the State Government.
 U – Win card holders.
 Senior citizens of families with an annual income of Rs 6 lakh or less.
 “MA” and “MA Vatsalya” cards
 Under the scheme, QR (Quick response) “MA” and “MA Vatsalya” cards containing photo, biometric thumbprint of each member of the beneficiary’s family are given.  Beneficiaries can be properly identified through the “MA” card and the wrong beneficiaries can be identified and controlled.


The cards of “MA” and “MA Vatsalya” schemes can be obtained from the Taluka Kioskasvik Center Kiosk established under the scheme.  Kiosks at taluka level and centers at city civic level have been set up for registration.  It is planned to register the remaining beneficiaries through mobile kiosks in all the districts.
Under MA Vatsalya Yojana, it is mandatory to get a MA Vatsalya card, for which the beneficiary family has to get a proof of income from any one of the following fixed (authorized) officers with a family annual income of Rs. 4.00 lakhs or less.  Which has been accepted for three years. ‘District Collector, District Development Officer Deputy Collector / Assistant Collector Province Officer, Deputy District Development Officer, Taluka Mamlatdar City Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer, Deputy Mamlatdar.
 Scheme Information: – Beneficiaries under the scheme include hospital registration, cons station, laboratory report for diagnosis, surgery, post-surgery follow-up services, medicines, admission charge, patient food, follow-up, travel expenses etc.  Can’t charge the same.  Thus, the beneficiaries can get totally free treatment under “MA” and “MA  Vatsalya Yojana”.
 The fixed cost of the prescribed treatment received by the beneficiaries under the scheme is approved ”is paid directly to the hospital by the Government.

Beneficiaries with “MA” card can avail the benefit by visiting the well-equipped hospitals connected with the scheme.
 Under the scheme, the beneficiaries are paid Rs. 300 / – for coming and going for treatment at the hospital.
 Under the scheme, the affiliated hospital has a certificate of NABH / JCI / ACHS or any other accreditation body approved by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare and is registered in it, they are given 10% higher quality incentive by the state than the “MA” package rates.  The state government has also made every effort to publicize the scheme, including mega health camps, health camps and hoardings at all government hospitals as well as bus stations.  And radio, TV.  , Newspapers, propaganda is spread through bus panels.  Asha sisters are given Rs. 100 / – per registration as an incentive for registration of BPL families.  Asha sisters / link workers Usha sisters are given Rs. 2 / – per card from mobile kiosk to increase their enthusiasm.  A health friend has been appointed in every hospital to provide guidance to the beneficiaries.

 Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana was awarded the prestigious “Platinum Scotch Award for Smart Governance 2014” on September 20, 2014.  CSI – Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana awarded the prestigious Nihilant e-Governance Award on December 13, 2014. Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana has received the award of “Best Affordable Healthcare Initiative” at the Healthcare Committee 2016 in Jaipur.  And for Innovative, Impactful and Sustainable E-Governance, the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology, Government of India and Maximum Governance has received the “James of Digital India” Award under Jury Choice Category.  ELETS has received the award for “Best Accessible Healthcare Initiative”.
