Eligibility Criteria: Children must be born between 2 June 2014 to 1 June 2015 
 
The annual income of the household must be-For ST/ SC- Rs. 2 lac per annum
 
For OBC- Rs. 1 lac per annum, For General- Rs. 68,000 per annum
 
The Government of Gujarat is implementing a scheme under Section 12 (1) K of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 to provide free admission to children belonging to weaker and disadvantaged groups in Std-1 as per 25% in non-subsidized private primary schools. Only children who have completed five years on 1st June 2020 and have the following priority order are eligible for admission under this scheme as per the priority order. (1) Orphans (2) Children in need of care and protection (3) Children in orphanages (4) Children in child labor / Migrant labor (5) Children with dementia / cerebral palsy / Children with special needs / Physically handicapped and handicapped Act 2016 All paralyzed children referred to in section 34 (1) (6) Children undergoing treatment with antiretroviral therapy (7) Children of military / paramilitary / police personnel martyred during duty (8) Parents who have only one child and that daughter Daughter (9) Children studying in Government Anganwadi run by the State Government (10) Children of BPL family of all categories (SC, ST, SEBC, General and others) with marks from 0 to 20 (ST) Category Children (12) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes / Other Backward Classes / Nomadic and Liberated Caste Children Nomadic and Deprived Castes should be given first priority in admission in this category. (13) General Category / Non-Reserved Class Children (14) Priority (8), (9), (11), (12) and (13) Rs. 1,20,000 per annum in rural area and Rs. The income limit of will apply. Admission will be given based on the priority of the category, income priority, priority of the school chosen by the parent etc.

RTE USER MANUAL
To get admission, the child’s guardian can fill the admission form on the official website https://rte.orpgujarat.com from 19/08/2020 to 29/08/2020. All the necessary details in this regard such as what evidence is to be submitted with the application, which officer is to be submitted are posted on the website. Required period is kept The process of submitting the form at the Receiving Center with the required documents during the main admission process has been canceled due to covid 19 epidemic. At the time of filling up the online form, the guardian has to upload the required proof of date such as date of birth, proof of residence, proof of caste / category, as well as proof of income etc. The guardian has to keep the print of the online form with him. The form filled online will not have to be submitted anywhere.
Instructions for applying online under RTE (Right to Education). Open the website https://rte.orpggujarat.com in a web browser to fill up the online form. Click on the online application given in the menu here. Click on “New Application” to fill out a new form. Fill out Form A in full. Since the application form is in both English and Gujarati languages, it will open according to the language you have chosen. Fill in the details of the child in the first part of the application form, the details of the mother in the second part, the details of the father in the third part and if the parents are not there, fill in the details of the guardian. Fill in the required details as per the application form and click on the “Next Tap” button then the second part of the application form will open as follows. Give the details of the child’s bank account here. If the child does not have a bank account then the bank account details of the parent / guardian and the bank account attached. It is mandatory to provide details of Aadhaar card number. Fill out Form B in full. There are 2 options to fill in the address details of the child’s residence. At the time of filling up the application form, fill in the details of the address of the child’s residence (such as house number / street society name, area, residence address landmark, pincode number, district taluka village) in option 1. Then click on “Local My Address”. If option 1 does not show the locale in the map, open Google Map and fill in your address details. And then copy the address details and fill in option 2 then click on “locate my address”. You will be able to see the map of your residence in the map shown by Google, then fill in the remaining required details, click on “Next Step”, note down the “Application Number” on our screen. We will look at the school selection list as per the address given by you. In addition to selecting the nearest village and ward you will see a list of schools in that village and ward. Then select the school from the list of schools. (It is imperative to choose the maximum number of schools) Then you can adjust the school according to your preference. After giving preference, click on “Neck Step”. Check the details given. Click on “EDIT” to edit details. You will also find a list of 10 receiving centers nearest to your home address. Click “Confirm” button if your details are correct. You will not be able to make any corrections after clicking the “Confirm Button”. Take note here. You have to print the application form and submit it to the receiving center. The list of the receiving center and its details are given on the website. The form will be printed and it will look like this which you can print. Can save for your reference as well. 
Instructions for Parents/Students
1.Please read all the instructions carefully before applying 
2.Online form is to be filled on website www.rtegujarat.org 
3.The fields marked with * are compulsory 
4.Details in the form should be filled carefully and as per documents to be submitted
5.For more information regarding application form you may take assistance of Receiving Center’s Help Desk
6.After application form is filled with all details, confirm the form and take a printout
7.Form can be edited by providing form no and date of birth until form is confirmed
8.No change can be made in form after it is confirmed. Hence check all details carefully and thereafter confirm the form
9.After print out is taken and you find that there is an error in form, then you should fill a new form. Your previous form will be cancelled.
10.Attach all documents as mentioned in the form in the same sequence as mentioned in the form and submit to the Receiving Center
11.After submitting form to the Receiving Center related to your District/Taluka/Area, take receipt from the Receiving Center.
12.Intimation of Form confirmationwill be sent through SMS/Email to the mobile no./Email Address mentioned in the form.
13.After allocation of seats is completed, intimation for downloading admit card will be publishedin newspapers as well as on the website
14.Seat allocation intimation will also be sent through SMS on Parent’s Mobile no. Admit card has to be printed within the time period mentioned on the website. Parent has to approach the allocated school with originaldocuments and take admission within the time period mentioned on the website.
15.If you do not approach the school and take admission within the mentioned time period then the form will be considered cancelled.
16.If it is found that the documents submitted are not proper then seat allocation will be considered invalid as well as legal procedure as per rules will be done.

  • The date of publication of advertisement in the newspapers for the admission for the academic year 2020/21 is 07/08/2020. 
  • There are 12 days for parents to submit the required documents to fill up the online form. That is the date from 07/08/2020 to 18/8/2020. 
  • The online form filling date is from 19/08/2020 to 29/8/2020. That is day 11.
  • The period for checking / approving / rejecting the online form at the district level is 8 days. That is, from 31/08/2020 to 07/09/2020, it can be approved / rejected. 
  • The date for announcing the first round of admission process is 11/09/2020.

 NOTICE 
The online form for admission under the academic year 2020/21 RTE can be filled from 19/08/2020 to 12:00 pm on 29/08/2020. If a parent of a child who has been denied admission has to make a complaint / representation regarding the RT admission process from the academic year 2017/18 to the academic year 2019/20, a complaint form is available on this website. You have to take a print of it and fill in the required details as per the affidavit.
