Matter of obtaining “Admission Eligibility Certificate” for students coming from other boards of India with regard to admission in Std-11.
Necessary instructions have been given to the students who want to get admission in Std. 11 in the school registered by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board by passing Std. 10 or its equivalent examination from other state or board of India as per the reference 1 circular. The circular included a list of a total of 62 boards with equivalents in the enclosure.
For students of other boards entering Std. 11 in the above circular of reference 1 as per the subject structure of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, only if they have passed Std. 10 with Mathematics, Science, Social Science as well as English subject in recognized schools of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Admission to standard 11 is stated.
According to the representations received by the office here regarding the above matter, according to the circular dated 1/6/2020 of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, the students coming from other boards have passed Std. 10 only with compulsory Mathematics, Science, English and Social Science subjects. Admission can be found. Students who have passed Std 10 with Mathematics, Science and English but have not passed Std 10 with Social Science subject cannot get admission. Therefore, they are requested to get admission in standard 11.
With the approval of the Government obtained on the single file of the office here regarding the above matter, in the situation of Covid 19, in the interest of the students only for the academic year 2020/21, the circular dated 1/6/2020 is amended as follows.
Students who have not passed Std. 10 with Social Science subject from other boards equivalent to Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education but have passed Std. 10 with Mathematics, Science and English as well as other subjects in case of Covid 19 only academic year 2020/21 That is why Gujarat will be able to get admission in standard 11 in schools recognized by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. According to the Board’s circular dated 1/6/2020, students from other boards equivalent to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have passed Std. 10 with Mathematics, Science, English and Social Science subjects as per the subject structure of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The matter of getting admission in standard 11 in the schools recognized by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be implemented from the academic year 2021/22.
The other instructions given in the circular dated 1/6/2020 will remain the same. Students seeking admission in the above details can be given admission till 15/12/2020 with the approval of the District Education Officer.

ધોરણ -૧૧ માં પ્રવેશ સંદર્ભે ભારતનાં અન્ય બોર્ડમાંથી આવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ “ પ્રવેશ યોગ્યતા પ્રમાણપત્ર ” મેળવવા બાબત .
ભારતના અન્ય રાજય કે બોર્ડમાંથી ધોરણ 10 કે તેની સમકક્ષ પરીક્ષા પાસ કરીને ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચત્તર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા રજીસ્ટર થયેલ શાળામાં ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મેળવવા માંગતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સંદર્ભ 1 ના પરીપત્ર મુજબ પ્રવેશ આપવા અંગે જરૂરી સૂચનાઓ આપવામાં આવેલ છે . જે પરિપત્ર સાથે બિડાણમાં સમકક્ષતા ધરાવતા કુલ 62 બોર્ડની યાદી સામેલ રાખવામાં આવેલ હતી .
સંદર્ભ 1 ના ઉક્ત પરિપત્રમાં ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશતા અન્ય બોર્ડના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડના વિષય માળખા મુજબ ગણિત , વિજ્ઞાન , સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન તેમજ અંગ્રેજી વિષય સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ કરેલ હોય તો જ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની માન્યતા ધરાવતી શાળાઓમાં ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ આપવાનું જણાવવામાં આવેલ છે .
ઉક્ત બાબત અંગે અત્રેની કચેરીને મળેલ રજૂઆતોમાં જણાવ્યા મુજબ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડના તારીખ 1/6/2020 ના પરિપત્ર અન્વયે અન્ય બોર્ડમાંથી આવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ફરજિયાત ગણિત , વિજ્ઞાન , અંગ્રેજી અને સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન વિષયો સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ કરેલ હોય તો જ ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મળી શકે છે . જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ગણિત , વિજ્ઞાન અને અંગ્રેજી સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ કરેલ હોય પરંતુ સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન વિષય સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ ન કરેલ હોય તેમને પ્રવેશ મળી શકતો નથી . તેથી તેઓને ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મળે તેવું કરવા વિનંતી કરેલ છે .
ઉક્ત બાબત અંગે અત્રેની કચેરીની સિંગલ ફાઈલ પર મળેલ સરકારશ્રીની મંજૂરી અન્વયે કોવિડ 19 ની પરિસ્થિતિમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓના હિતમાં માત્ર શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ 2020/21 માટે જ અત્રેના તારીખ 1/6/2020 ના પરિપત્રમાં નીચે મુજબ સુધારો કરવામાં આવે છે .
જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની સમકક્ષતા ધરાવતા અન્ય બોર્ડમાંથી ધોરણ 10 સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન વિષય સાથે પાસ ન કરેલ હોય પરંતુ ગણિત , વિજ્ઞાન અને અંગ્રેજી તેમજ અન્ય વિષય સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ કરેલ હોય તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કોવિડ 19 ની પરિસ્થિતિમાં માત્ર શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ 2020/21 માટે જ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની માન્યતા ધરાવતી શાળાઓમાં ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મેળવી શકશે . બોર્ડના તારીખ 1/6/2020ના પરિપત્રમાં જણાવ્યા મુજબ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની સમકક્ષતા ધરાવતા અન્ય બોર્ડમાંના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડના વિષય માળખા મુજબ ગણિત , વિજ્ઞાન , અંગ્રેજી અને સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાનના વિષયો સાથે ધોરણ 10 પાસ કરેલ હોય તો જ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડની માન્યતા ધરાવતી શાળાઓમાં ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મેળવી શકશે તે બાબતનો અમલ શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ 2021/22 થી કરવામાં આવશે .
અત્રેના તારીખ 1/6/2020 ના પરિપત્રમાં દર્શાવેલ અન્ય સૂચનાઓ યથાવત રહેશે . ઉક્ત વિગતે ધોરણ 11 માં પ્રવેશ મેળવવા માંગતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને જિલ્લા શિક્ષણાધિકારીશ્રીની મંજૂરીથી તારીખ 15/12/2020 સુધીમાં પ્રવેશ આપી શકાશે .
ઉપરોકત વિગતો આપના તાબાની તમામ માધ્યમિક / ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળાઓને જાણ તથા અમલ સારૂં મોકલી આપવા વિનંતી કરવામાં આવે છે .
