Matter of conducting self-assessment and external assessment under school achievement program
Pursuant to the above subject, it has been decided to conduct “School Achievement” program in Government and Granted Secondary Schools of the State as per the guidelines of NIEPA. In the year 2019/20, “School Achievement” program has been implemented in a total of 6343 secondary schools. These schools were instructed to conduct self-assessment as per the guidelines of NIEPA. If the self-assessment work for the year 2019-20 is to be frozen after November 30, 2020, the schools in your district which have pending self-assessment work will have to complete the self-assessment work by November 30, 2020. The “School Achievement” program involves the process of external assessment in one-third (1/3) of the schools after self-assessment in schools. From the reference letter, after the self-assessment work in these 6343 schools under the School Achievement Program, guidelines were sent for external evaluation in an average of one third of the secondary schools in each block of the state. Details were also sent. (A copy of the letter is attached herewith.)
In view of the above, it is requested to complete the external assessment work in the third (1/3) part of the secondary schools as per the guidelines given by 20th December 2020. The district level has appointed a nodal officer for this operation and it is requested to send the progress report of the operation to the office here every Friday at gecell@gmail.com.
Matter of conducting external evaluation under school achievement program in secondary schools.
Under the above subject, it has been decided to conduct “School Achievement” program in government and grant aided secondary schools of the state in the current academic year as per the guidelines of NIEPA. Out of the total secondary schools in the state, 571 government, 459 RMSA, 72 model, 20 model days, 2 KGBV and 5219 grant a total of 6343 secondary schools have implemented “School Achievement” program. As per NIEPA guidelines, self-assessment will be done in government and grant aided secondary schools in the state under the “School Achievement” program in the state’s secondary schools. It has been decided to conduct external assessment in secondary schools after self-assessment in government and grant aided secondary schools of the state under the School Achievement Program. This External Assessment As per the guidelines of NIEPA, out of the total 6343 government and grant aided secondary schools in the state, an average of one third (1/3) of the secondary schools in each block of the state will have to be externally evaluated under the School Achievement Program. When the instruction is given from here, the external evaluation work will have to start in the month of April after the examination. An external evaluation guide is being sent to inform you. Expenditure incurred on this external evaluation process shall be as per district wise expenditure.
Guidelines for External Assessment under the School Achievement Program
External assessment should be based on the result of last year’s self-assessment. In which 1/3 (one third) of the total number of schools in the taluka will have to be evaluated externally.
For external evaluation of schools, Secondary School Education Inspector, Assistant Education Inspector, Model School Principal, Model Day School Principal, State Prize Teacher, Retired Secondary School Principal, Diet Lecturer, BRCCO Coordinator. To include in the team the principal of a secondary school other than the school which is to be evaluated.
A team of 3 members will be formed to conduct external evaluation in schools.
Under the guidance of the District Education Officer, EI will form a team for the external assessment at BRC for that taluka and organize a meeting.
The officer / employee coming for external assessment will have to be considered on-duty on his / her duty.
One member of the external evaluation team is mandatory c. R. C. There will be a coordinator who will be responsible for making online entries for the external assessment of the school.
Grants will be allotted from the office here to the office of the District Project Coordinator of that district for external evaluation under the School Achievement Program. The grant of the district should be allotted to the office of the District Education Officer by the entire District Education Office. External evaluation work will have to be started when instruction will be given from here.
CRC charges Rs. 100 per school for online entry of school details after completion of external values. To be paid to the coordinator.
The school which is to be externally evaluated will have to pay Rs. 400 per school as incidental cost to the school with external evaluation. This grant must be allocated to the school account.
Members who join an external evaluated school as an evaluator will have to pay an honorarium of Rs. 200 per school per member. As per rules TA – DA will be paid as per rules from their grant by the concerned office.
The amount regarding the above three matters will be paid by the office of the District Education Officer.
