Periodic testing for students of Std. 3 to 8 in the month of October

Periodic assessment test was conducted for students of standard 3 to 8 in each medium in primary schools in July, August and September for the purpose of assessment with homework during covid -19.  You are requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the test to be taken in the month of October.  

Environmental (Paryavaran) tests will be taken in standard 3 and 4 in the month of October.

Environment and mathematics will be tested in standard 5

While in standard 6 to 8 maths, science and social science subjects will be taken.

The above periodic assessment tests will be held from 27th to 29th October.  

Tests in hardcopy or softcopy should reach the students by 26/10/2020.  

All medium tests will be made available on GCERT website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 26/10/2020.  

As well as Gujarati medium test which can also be seen in the QR code on the textbook index of that subject.

The above tests are expected to be written by the student from home under the supervision of the parent at the convenience of the parent and the student.  

It is desirable that students take the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment as the purpose of the test is to know the student’s progress.  

It is desirable that the answer book of the test be delivered to the school through the guardian by 5/11/20. 

The test will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcome.  A copy of the test syllabus is attached herewith.

In Std. 3 to 8 the following  subject Chapter will be asked in the October  unit test.
