Assessment with Homling during the current Covid-19 epidemic period from 2020-21

Periodic assessment test for students of Std. 6 to 8 in all government aided and self-reliant primary schools of the state in each medium has been conducted in the month of July and August.

In order to conduct periodic assessment test for students of Std. 1 to 8 in the month of September, further action will have to be taken regarding the following matters and kindness.

Gujarati and Mathematics subject test syllabus taken in the month of July September

Mass will not be included in the test. A copy of the syllabus of the assessment test for September 2020 is attached herewith.

Testing taking into account learning outcomes.

Gujarati English and Hindi will be tested in Std. Gujarati English, Hindi and Sanskrit will be tested in Std. 6 to 8.

Date of Education Department Gujarati (first language), mathematics, social as per the resolution of 12/02/20

Science and the science subject have to take the same test.

The self-supporting and subsidized school will be able to take the tests of the subjects which are in addition to this subject voluntarily.

Periodic Evaluation Tests It will be held from date 26th to 30th September. By date 25/9/20, the students will have to reach the tests in hardcopy or softcopy.

  Testing of all mediums will be made available on GCERT’s website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 25/09/2020. As well as Gujarati medium test which can also be seen in the textbook index (QR code) on that subject.

It is expected that the head of the test parent and the student facilitator will supervise the student guard. The purpose of the test is to know the progress of the students and it is desirable that the students give in a fear free and stress free environment.

Test answer book It is desirable to be delivered to the school through the guardian by date 05/10/2020.

Wherever there is a test of Hindi in Gujarati medium of that medium, there is a test of Gujarati (second language) in Hindi medium.

Where Gujarati medium has Gujarati test, other medium first language test will be taken.

Where there is a test of English in Gujarati medium, there is a test of Gujarati (second language) in English medium

It is up to you to make the necessary arrangements for the above periodic assessment test

For the purpose of assessment with Homelang during COVID-19 period in the month of July and August for students of Std. 6 to 8 in every medium in primary schools

Gujarati and Maths tests will be taken in Std. 3 To 4. Gujarati, English and Hindi will be tested in Std. 5. while Gujarati, English, Hindi and Sanskrit subjects will be tested in Std. 6 to 8. While pointing out that as per the resolution dated 12-02-2020 of the education department, similar tests have to be taken in Gujarati (first language), mathematics, social science and science subjects. This time the subjects in addition to these four subjects can take the tests of the subjects voluntarily and the grant-aided school voluntarily.

The above periodic evaluation tests It will be held from September 26 to 30. Tests in hardcopy or softcopy will have to be delivered to the students by 25/09/2020.

Tests of all mediums will be made available on GCERT website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 25/09/2020 as well as Gujarati medium tests for those subjects.
